;0 At the moment I don't have room for Linux on this computer. I do have another computer but there is no room in this apt to set it up yet. You might have noticed my many interest and research. All that take alot of drive space. lol people tell me I should write some books. There just isn't time right now. :) Let me know if you get irfanview working in wine:) Happy Pearling L8trs by Jul 25
Hi joedavis I don't know if it will work in wine but it has such a small footprint also it seems to load pictures into a kind of VMemory Soo it should work in wine. I'm not using Linux mostly just a lack of time and Windows 7 is really stable and fast. I do install Linux on other peoples computers, someties as a duel operating system. I've had linux and wndows on an winxp system and windows ate the linux partition. Well that was before windows 7. It was also before I tried a VMemory partition. Cont. by Jul 25
