Baltimore duo Wye Oak impressed viewers last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The band may only consist of Jenn Wesner and Andy Stack, but their sound is far more abundant. Wesner crooned with a deep warm sound and occasionally brought in her electric guitar like beams of light during the song "Holy Holy" from their March album, Civilian . The drummer, Stack, kept his left hand free to simultaneously play keyboard chords. Even the Roots drummer, ?uestlove, had something to tweet about the band, "@wyeoaks drummer just topped billy ray cyrus drummer for most inventive performance on a late night show!"
