Both are organised by the Wikimedia Foundation in partnership with arts institutions who will be presenting and discussing their experiences on knowledge sharing and partnerships with Wikimedia in that regard. Behind the Wikimedia Foundation are Wikipedia as well as most notable wiki-something projects that have developped and made popular the idea and practice of sharing information freely, and making knowledge and culture an experience that is done in common, valuing everyone's voice. Discussing how institutions envision their strategies in that matter goes further than a mere internal/external policy issue, it tackles subjects such as the digital divide, how one sees information in our societies and the part visitors should take in the museum experience.
