Repurpose Cream Soda Bottles into a fun Valentines gift. Sometimes coming up with a fun and creative gift for the hubby can be hard....
So I hit the grocery store because the way to a guys heart is through is stomach RIGHT?! I took a case of Cream Soda bottles and without making it to "girly" I decorated it for the hubby for a fun gift that I am sure he will love to snack on! This is going to be fun to give to him while he is at work for all to see....and hopefully tease :) Here is the before: *Cream Soda bottles are clear, so pick those if you want him to see the snacks inside, if not you can use Root Beer Bottles. *Empty, wash and dry the bottles well, make sure to keep the bottle caps *I spray painted the inside of the cardboard case just to hide the yellow, once dry you can decorate it with paper. *Then decorate the bottles with paper and ribbon. FOOD. I can never go wrong there. So after last years gift was a major hit, I decided to turn up the heat this year and turned his favorite snacks into a saucy Valentine's gift. This is not your ordinary candy bar poster!! Read it for yourself: All I have left to do is wrap up all the food in a basket, attach the note on the outside and deliver it to him at work next week. hehehehehehe I hope it makes him blush....or his co-workers! This could take all day: an easy valentine gift your hubby will really appreciate. Do you love your husband?
Do you want to make him a simple gift that he will absolutely LOVE? Do you not have a ton of time or inspiration for a crafty project? Then I'm you're girl. This little book is designed to hold the little things you "notice" that your husband does for you or your family. I so often overlook or under appreciate all the many little things he does every day for us. This year I decided it was time to make another "I notice" book.
First off, let me say that I was totally inspired by the gals at my very favorite scrapbook store ever: Treasury of Memories. But if you're like me and wanted to do something a little smaller, and a little more replicatable (you know, cuz I have to make like 30 kits for my MOPS mamas) then read further. Step 1: Gather your supplies Step 3: measure and cut your feltTo make it easy, I did this project at 2" by 3", which is the size of a standard wallet photo. Step 5: cut notecardsTrim a handful of notecards down to 2" by 3". Happy Valentines Day! This year I made this adorable gift for my boyfriend.
On a deck of cards, I thought of 52 reasons why I love him soo much (I could have easily come up with 1000 <3) I typed them out and cut them up. Some cards I glued the white paper on and cut out patterned hearts. The other cards I backed the white paper with the same patterned paper and glued them on. Both designs looked great together. It was a super creative, super personal gift from the heart. Special Stars… — The Crafty Mummy. Creative Kismet » Blog Archive » little guiding stars. Since the new year has started I’ve been trying to think of ways to be more kind to my self.
Especially when that nasty gremlins try to creep in and stump me. I remembered this origami star video on You Tube and had to get them involved in my plan. I thought it would be fun to make a whole bunch with kind words and “you are….” phrases inside. I made 60 of them, enough to last me the whole year if I open one a week, plus a few extra just in case. I used 12 x 12 inch scrapbook paper and cut 1/2 x 12″ strips, then followed the video HERE*. *UPDATE! Be Sociable, Share! Free sweet Printables.
