by Adam Pash Click to view I've introduced you to Quicksilver , given you the keys to working with objects therein , and I even popped the hood for a closer look at the Quicksilver preferences , which means you should be pretty much up to speed with operating inside Quicksilver. That means there's just one thing left to do. Today I've rounded up my favorite, most frequently used Quicksilver actions and workflows in one big old Quicksilver extravaganza. If you've followed along so far but you still just don't get how you might put Quicksilver to practical, everyday use, here's how I do it.
Hack Attack: The Quicksilver video extravaganza
Click to view On Monday we took a beginner's look at Quicksilver . We covered a lot of territory, but I didn't address Quicksilver's extensive and somewhat confusing preference pane - which actually contains a lot more than preferences. In fact, what lies inside the preferences box is all your options for assigning powerful global triggers, tweaking your Quicksilver catalog, adding new plug-ins, and, of course, playing with Quicksilver's application preferences.

However, NVIDIA has a Resize HDTV function available in the NVIDIA control panel which allows users to view the entire Windows desktop and is compatible with 3D stereoscopic gaming. To enable it, follow these instructions: The options on this Resize HDTV Desktop page appear if you have set the NVIDIA Control Panel View menu to Standard . You can resize the desktop appearing on your HDTV screen if your desktop is extending beyond the viewable display area or the desktop or image is not filling the entire display area. How to Completely Anonymize Your BitTorrent Traffic with BTGuard

Heavy computer users are familiar with keyboard shortcuts such as ctrl-c to “copy” and ctrl-v to “paste.” If you’re a Mac user and you switch back and forth from Windows to OS X often you’ve probably felt some pain using keyboard shortcuts. For some silly reason Apple decided to default standard keyboard shortcuts to use the Apple key (also called the Command key) instead of the ctrl key. That means to copy text in Windows you press ctrl-c , but to copy text in OS X you press Apple-c .More and more ISP’s are limiting and throttling BitTorrent traffic on their networks. By throttling BitTorrent traffic the speed of BitTorrent downloads decrease, and high speed downloads are out of the question.
