My name is Rich Pitman and I am from Newport, South Wales. I am the writer of the book entitled Jimmy Threepwood and the Veil of Darkness which is set for release on the 18th October 2012. This is the first book in a series of five. The story is about an eleven year old boy, unloved by his parents and forbidden to have friends until it is revealed his parents made a pact with the keeper of life and death and it has been pre-ordained that he will be trained, along with others in dark magic to one day destroy the world.
But will he do it? After leaving school in 1998 I went to University in Swansea, then University in Newport and completed a teaching Qualification. Found it relaxing as the words and visual images flew around my mind. One night I started thinking about the book I had written when the idea and premise for Jimmy Threepwood leapt into my head.
