In both of the infographics, I like how they looked at both girls and boys. A lot of times you will hear discussion around body image issues around girls, but not boys. Body image issues are partly caused by the fashion and beauty industry, so that's why I thought it was related to my topic. The other three infographics are more about discrimination in the fashion and beauty industry. The third infographic shows how companies can embrace diversity. I think a lot of the steps are very helpful, like to discard the "one size fits all" notion. The fourth infographic shows the "anatomy of a promotional model". It shows the percentage of males and females, models in specific weight ranges, models of each race, and models in specific age ranges in this agency. I feel like it gives insight in how diverse modeling agencies are (but not just for race, but for age and weight as well). The last infographic shows how the fashion industry can be more inclusive. A lot of the suggestions could be very helpful, like being cost-effective, expanding sizes, being sustainable, and being trans friendly. I feel like if a lot of people were aware of companies with this attributes, they would definitely feel more included.
