Biblioteca Universitatii din Craiova. The European Documentation Centre, within the University of Craiova, opened at the beginning of May, 2010. The EDC was set up following the written agreement between the host structure (the University of Craiova) and the European Commission. Its main mission is to sustain the information and documentation process for specific users (students, professors, members of local community), providing free access to various publications on European Union’s topics. It also aims at promoting information on EU institutions and publications on European Union policies, legislation and at ensuring an active cooperation with institutions concerned with European Union’s areas of interest (publishing houses, local and regional centres).

Archivo Digital España-Unión Europea /Spain-European Union Digital Archive (SEDA) recoge documentos relevantes, en todos los formatos- texto, imagen, audio, video- sobre España y la Unión Europea, actualmente dispersos en los fondos bibliográficos y documentales de instituciones en el ámbito de la Unión Europea. También recoge producción intelectual de las universidades, principalmente españolas, en la materia. SEDA es un archivo digital creado por 20 Centros Documentación Europea (CDE) de las universidades españolas y la Representación de la Comisión Europea en España, en colaboración con la Secretaría de Estado para la Unión Europea . Es handelt sich um den Spezialkatalog aller im EDZ aufgestellten Bücher (Zeitschriften sind nicht enthalten). Sie finden hier sowohl die amtlichen (= vom Amt für amtliche Veröffentlichungen herausgegebenen) Druckschriften der Europäischen Gemeinschaften als auch wichtige Verlagspublikationen zu ausgewählten EU-Themen. Der Bestand ist in 20 Sachgruppen systematisch aufgestellt. In dem Feld "Sachgruppe" ist der Standort innerhalb der EDZ Aufstellungssystematik angezeigt. Die Form der Titelaufnahme und die Verschlagwortung ist an kein Regelwerk gebunden und diente bisher als reines Arbeitsinstrument. Es kann in der Suchezeile mit jedem in der Titelaufnahme erscheinenden Begriff (Autor, Wort im Titel, Schlagwort, ISBN-Nr. etc.) gesucht werden.
Oft reicht die Eingabe eines Begriffes, da die Treffer überschaubar und in der unteren Hälfte des Bildschirmes einzeln anklickbar sind.
