CHRISTIANITY
This pearl tree contains sites that concern Christianity in its true form. It's all about Jesus and what he did to secure mankind's freedom from sin and eternal death. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit inside the virgin womb of an ordinary Jewish girl who was engaged to man named Joseph. He was born in a stable among the livestock. rapped up in rags and laid down in a feed trough.
He lived a sinless life and at age 33 he began preaching to sinners that in order to see the Kingdom of God, one must be "born again". He performed many miracles as a demonstration to Jews and Gentiles that He was God incarnate. On many occasions He claimed that He and His Father were One. This inflamed the Jewish religious rulers and they wanted to kill him because he claimed equality with God. So, He was tried in a mock court and was crucified on a cross by the Roman government.
He was laid in the tomb of a rich man and on the third day, God raised Jesus up from the dead and into eternal life. The penalty for our sins was paid in full. The simplicity of the Gospel of Jesus is that there is only one thing anyone has to do in order to receive the gift of eternal life. You must "believe" in the one that God sent. You must believe that Jesus came into the world for the express purpose of dying for your sins and you must realize that you need a savior, because you cannot save yourself. You must acknowledge that through His shed blood Jesus provided the only way you can be forgiven by God. You must trust that He is able to keep you saved, by giving the gift of the Holy Spirit as a guarantee of your passage from death into life at the very moment you believe.
