They will soon be published in the German magazine "Diesterweg Internet Detective", so we also benefit from a professional layout... Each task includes a worksheet that you can download for free (in the word format so easy to adapt to your students if you wish to do so) and several links to articles and websites to work from. The topics are varied, but all related to kids in British school : life in present schools and in Victorian schools, uniforms, discipline, truancy, term-time holidays, bullying, mobile phones, texting, etc. For each activity you will find excellent links, mostly from the BBC, including for example a video to teach kids to react to bullying or a dictionary to translate text lingo.

Last week, England’s Commissioner for Children said nearly every child was affected by the problem. Education ministers are keen to reverse the worrying trend, especially as today is the start of Anti-Bullying Week. Politicians are thinking about fining the parents of bullies up to $1,700.
