Faster Image Insert aims to do one thing right : Moves built-in Media Manager down in a meta-box, right next to main editing panel, so you have full control of the manager: opens it, makes it collapse or hidden from the interface completely. Insert multiple images in gallery & library mode, without using shortcode; can also insert images in reversed order, and even control spacing between images.

The other day I talked about micro-blogging and mega-blogging and shared my view that new forms of social media, including micro-blogging, are complementary to blogging. When social media became a mainstream concept, a profusion of self-proclaimed experts quickly appeared; people with little or no experience who wanted to capitalize on a new industry. Along with them came a flood of books on the topic and unfortunately Socialnomics is an unremarkable book perched on top of that big pile. My gist seemed to be, “Don’t worry about an ything… try ev erything, and fantastic creations will magically appear.” Given the circumstances, I’m happy I erred that way rather than the other.
