I had a busy, fun-filled weekend of entertaining. I was able to meet some ladies that I’ve become friends with on Facebook over the past couple of years. It was so good to be able to finally give them a squeeze in person, have them in my home and meet my family, to “break bread” and laugh until our sides felt like splitting. For Nicole Klingler of True Atelier Photography, her artist’s workroom is full of her beautiful images she captures with her camera in Idaho. Nicole’s work is beautiful and as you can see from the photos below, light is a major factor in making her photos unique. She does a beautiful job of finding the lovely light and using it to her advantage in her photo shoots. For this shoot, her client wanted something editorial so they decided on a concept/theme and utilized the season to bring this theme to life.
By incorporating fall colors and props that included baskets and bowls of colorful vegetables, this theme came to life. People often ask me what kind of equipment I use when shooting. Two or three years ago, I would have said something completely different, but after working in the field a while, I have come to realize the significance in quality equipment. And by that I mean, unfortunately, very expensive. After using a variety of different camera bodies and lenses, I have witnessed the extreme difference in quality. I feel much more confident with the work I can produce with a quality set up. .

We absolutely loved this couple. They were so sweet- and soft spoken, but so funny and loads of fun! They are such a GORGEOUS couple! Seriously.
