Après des études d’histoire j’ai pris le train du développement informatique avec l’émergence du web dans les années 90. Récemment le livre, dont tu es l’auteur, « La réalité augmentée avec Unity » vient d’être mis en vente. Il s’agit d’un livre qui propose au lecteur une approche didactique sur la réalisation d’un projet de réalité augmentée. Il est certain que des points sont à améliorer de part et d’autre. Merci Stéphane ! Comment ? Continental Shows off New Augmented Reality HUD Technology.
In simple terms, Continental’s newest technology is an upgraded version of the head-up display. This so-called “Augmented Reality” system presents information in an innovative new way, as its advanced projection system allows drivers to see navigation, speed, and driver-assist functions projected directly onto the road in front of them. The Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD) uses a type of projector called a digital mirror device (DMD) to magnify the HUD’s images to a much larger size as they’re projected onto the windshield. This means that navigation commands, enhanced lane markings, and other graphics appear to the driver as though they are up to 24 feet on the road in front of them, as opposed to traditional HUDs whose images cannot appear past the hood of the car.
Continental says that systems like the Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR-HUD), which should appear in production by 2019, are important for bringing autonomous driving more in the mainstream.
