Buzzfeed und Huffington Post sind nur die Vorboten für eine komplett neue Art von Berichterstattung – und Formen der Finanzierung. Schauen wir uns an, was es gibt. Und überlegen wir uns, was in Deutschland funktionieren könnte – und ob wir das überhaupt wollen. Mehr Diskussion, weniger Gerangel. Da stimme ich dem Kollegen Fahrenbach gern zu, wenn er fordert, dass wir uns beim Blick auf den Medienwandel nicht ständig selbstverliebt Knüppel zwischen die Beine werfen sollten.
Also schaffen wir lieber Grundlagen für die Debatte und werfen einen Blick darauf, was im englischsprachigen Raum mit Journalismus gerade passiert – gucken wir in Deutschland doch immer mit großen Augen auf all das, was da so läuft – #Buzzfeed lässt grüßen. Wir befinden uns am Anfang, lasst uns mitgestalten! Um einen besseren Überblick zu bekommen, werde ich die Angebote in unterschiedliche Kategorien einteilen und einzelne Highlights vorstellen.

The question was: If I followed the advise of experts and upped my posting regularity – could we double my followers? Using scheduling tools, and the assistance of a few people in DJTT my mission was to drastically increase the number of posts per day and take my activity from zilch to full on. How did things fare? Did I succeed? Most importantly – what did we learn? The series started off in an onerous fashion with the top rated comment beseeching me to make more videos and forget about social media: This was the big question. In short – the answer was yes and no. There were a few moments where social media did show some real potential but the experiment was a mixed bag and brought me back to my previous verdict: post when I have time and focus on creating real value – not talking about it.
