Students Student Bursaries NHS Business Services Authority. NHS Student Bursaries is part of Student Services and is supplied by the NHS Business Services Authority. We award and pay NHS Bursaries to students on pre-registration health professional training courses according to the NHS Bursary Scheme as published by the Department of Health. If you are thinking of taking up (or are already enrolled on) a qualifying training course, you’ll find information on this site about who can apply for an NHS Bursary and how to apply. The University of Nottingham is providing a generous package of bursaries to support full time undergraduate home* students from lower-income families who are liable for the £9,000 tuition fee.

Unfortunately, students on NHS-funded courses are not eligible for these University bursaries (with the exception of the Nottingham Potential Bursary for Care Leavers). University Core Bursary At least a third of our students are likely to be eligible for our Core Bursary, which offers up to £3,000 for each year of undergraduate study.
