If you are UK based and do not have your own accountant or bookkeeper then I'd suggest that you stick with either Sage or Quickbooks both are easy to use and importantly when it comes to end of year, your accountant will be familiar with both of these and should easily be able to take what you have done and get them easily into the statutory format. This should keep your end of year accounting fees as low as possible. Another reason for using either of those two is that if/when you hire your first accounting person they will also be familiar with them or if you decide to outsource to a bookkeeper they will more than likely already using one of them. by Aug 24
