My man needed a sleeve for his new 11 inch netbook. After searching the net for a pattern, I came to the conclusion that there really isn’t much of a pattern to making a laptop sleeve, so I tried my hand at making one free hand. Of everything I’ve ever crocheted, this is one of the easiest things I’ve ever made! Yarn: Your choice. The thicker the better. If your yarn is thin, consider using two or three strands together.

Reusable knitted coffee cup cozy Pumpkin
There was a nice giveaway of 16 different items from a different sellers with a "Pick your own gift" idea. Our knitted Pumpkin cozy was among those 16. Unfortunately I did not save a link to that giveaway but I collect whatever people say about our cozy. So here it is:
I’ve decided to call these “camp sock cases” because of they way they kind of look like those wooly, speckled camp socks. I knitted these using two colors of yarn at once, which gave the cases a two-toned, marled look. Knitting the cases with two strands of yarn creates a much thicker material, which adds more protection for our precious electronics. Since I always seem to have to do two things at once, knitting these cases have been a fabulous way to preoccupy myself when hanging around the house.
