Below is a list of “weeds” that I consume almost everyday and grow everywhere up here. Not only are they all tasty, but some of them are world class therapeutic herbs, especially Dandelion or Catsear (great for digestion and liver cleansing) and Milk Thistle (great for protecting the liver). All the weeds below are very rich in vitamins and minerals; in fact I do not doubt that one could live on them entirely if necessary. Get used to what they look like, keep an eye out for them and why not eat them, it’s free food! All text and images from with thanks.
