Customize Your Pagination Style with CSS. If you're like me, getting the details of your ning network just right is an ongoing process. For example, I think that the default pagination styles attached to ning themes are BOR-ING. So I'm going to quickly show you how to add a little style to your pagination and make your pages just a little more unique. Let's begin. First you want to find a style that you like and you can find these all over the web. ! 've found that some offered by blogs which help with blogger design have pretty good ones. You'll want to download the CSS style sheet for the style you want and if there is an image involved grab that too. Finally, you're gonna want to copy and paste the entire CSS from the stylesheet and add it to the bottom of your Advanced CSS in dashboard. Good luck! Need help with your Ning Network? One particular effect you can add to your social network with CSS is to change the colors of your modules — the Events modules, text boxes, etc. — when a member hovers their cursor over a module. It's a cool effect that can bring some flash to your design, and help to highlight whatever content a member is looking at.
To start, figure out what color your modules are currently. To do this, click on the Manage tab then on "Appearance. " Click on "Module," and you'll see what color your modules are currently: That six-digit code tells you the exact color you've chosen for your modules. Once you've figured out that color, pick a different, but relatively similar color to be shown when a member hovers over your modules. Back on your appearance page, click "Advanced," and add this CSS: That CSS will cause the background to be light gray when a member hovers over a module.
