Development of New Zealand ESOL Qualifications. Closed 04 Nov 2011 NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has worked in partnership with the sector on the development of New Zealand qualifications in ESOL.
Sector consultation is now closed. Feedback on the October-November consultation and the adjustments made to the qualifications can be accessed below. Feedback received on the qualifications in the October 2011 sector consultation was presented to the ESOL Project Advisory Group (PAG) for consideration and recommendation. Adjustments to the qualifications were made, and an application was then submitted to NZQA Service Delivery for approval of the qualifications. The changes to the qualifications, and their rationale, are contained within the response to the October consultation document below. The proposed qualifications are now drafted in full.
