Pumped up both tires (looks like they were flat for a long time because when I added air you could hear the tubes unwinkle, like when you squish plastic wrap), wrapped chain back onto front crankset, adjusted front brakes, then the test ride! Almost smooth, but not quite. rear shifted fine but front does not shift into the big ring, but I rarely use that ring anyway on my bikes, so no big deal. What I will swap out asap is the stem and handlebar. I feel too stretched out, maybe I've been so used to riser bars--been riding with them for a long time now.
