To work out the sizes, you need to decide how many notebooks the inside pockets will hold. Place the notebooks on a pile and measure around the narrow part. Measure the notebook height and add 1 inch to it. This will give you the measurements for the lining, interfacing and outside fabric. As a way of example, I used 3 A4 notebooks.
