Beardsley was an Art Nouveau illustrator, most famous for his drawings for Oscar Wilde's play, "Salome" (I believe the The Peacock Skirt is one of them). I've just researched a bit more about his work and found some truly wonderful drawings that fully speak to me. He was only 25 when he died of tuberculosis.
