With many educational institutions choosing to use tablets for learning, it can be quite intimidating for teachers when faced with so many applications. The diagram below serves to illustrate that less than 20 core apps can play a significant part in the learning process and hopefully temper any trepidation. The extent to which the learning environment can be changed is up to the educator and students. Twitter and Skype are part of many students’ lives, with immediate contact and communication a must.

Email Image © muzixman via morguefile In Portland, Oregon trees flock city streets and neighborhoods like nowhere else, which may be a significant boon to our city’s youngest residents. According to a fascinating study, pregnant women who live in homes graced by more trees are significantly less likely to deliver undersized babies. The study points out that while trees fail to affect rates of premature births, overall, a greener natural environment may positively affect pregnancy outcomes.
The study, led by author Geoffrey Donovan, a scientist with the U.S. Forest Service’s Pacific Northwest Research Station in Portland might sound a little far fetched at first, but Donovan points out that so many trees may serve to reduce stress in pregnant women. Oppilas löytää mielestään kappaleen tehtävien vastaukset kappaleesta HYVIN. Oppilas varmistaa, että todella osaa läksykappaleen asioita KYSELEMÄLLÄ ITSELTÄÄN KYSYMYKSIÄ ja TEKEMÄLLÄ TEHTÄVIÄ. Oppilas arvioi, että hänelle sopivia keinoja opiskella läksykappaleen asioita on TEHDÄ TARVITTAVAT TEHTÄVÄT ja KATSOA KIRJASTA, JOS EI MUUTEN OSAA.
