$1B of TSA Nude Body Scanners Made Worthless By Blog — How Anyone Can Get Anything Past The Scanners | TSA Out of Our Pants! This video is here to demonstrate that the TSA’s insistence that the nude body scanner program is effective and necessary is nothing but a fraud, just like their claims that the program is safe (radiation what?) And non-invasive (nude pictures who?). The scanners are now effectively worthless, as anyone can beat them with virtually no effort. The TSA has been provided this video in advance of it being made public to give them an opportunity to turn off the scanners and revert to the metal detectors. I personally believe they now have no choice but to turn them off. Please share this video with your family, friends, and most importantly, elected officials in federal government.

My legal battle against the TSA’s nude body scanner and pat-down molestation program continues in court, soon with a petition to the U.S. I’d like to thank: Travel Underground – Freedom to Travel USA – Legislators who have stood up to the TSA – especially Dr.

(MARK RALSTON/AFP/Getty Images) China and Thailand are the two best countries to be an expatriate, according to a recent study by British bank HSBC that looked at economic opportunities and quality of life for expats in 34 countries. They're followed by small, rich countries known for their globalized business classes. In descending order, they are: Switzerland, the Cayman Islands, Bahrain and Singapore. The worst of these 34 countries to be an expat is Egypt, which has seen xenophobia rise considerably since this summer's military coup and wave of populist nationalism. Also at the bottom of the list is much of Western Europe, which the report says is often too expensive for expats.

In descending order: France, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy and second-to-last is Ireland. For 24 of those countries, the study also looked at metrics gauging the suitability of raising children as expats. The best and worst countries to be an expat.

UT-Dallas has a regular student exchange program with one of Germany's oldest universities, the University of Marburg, in a beautiful middle-sized city about an hour's ride north of Frankfurt in the state of Hesse. A fine medieval castle overlooks the historic city center as well as Germany's first purely Gothic church (St. Elisabeth's) to give Marburg a picturesque quality, while the modern city is very much a university town, enjoying a reputation for its high academic tone and active student life. On the university generally, see UTD students have three different possibilities for studying at Marburg, either in the regular academic curriculum (conducted largely in German, but with some courses and some entire Masters programs in English) or in two special programs for international students (conducted in English and German). See the description at Regular Curriculum Studies (by Exchange Agreement)

Hessen International Summer Universities (ISU) University of Marburg July 19 - August 16, 2014 The Near and Middle East is a direct neighbour of the European Union. Exceeding this geographical proximity, the two focal points of the summer university 2014 are united by a long mutual history and a present not without conflicts, including political and economic interests and mutual dependences.

The summer university 2014 will approach these issues from the angle of political sciences, economics, and sociology, as well as cultural and regional sciences. Structure The 16th Hessen International Summer University (ISU) offers a summer study program with seminars in German and English on the main topic,German language courses, credits (ECTS points),an extensive cultural program with weekend excursions, evening lectures, parties and more.

This excerpt from Lonely Planet’s Malta & Gozo guide provides a selection of travel literature to get you in the mood for your trip. Considering how many tourists Malta receives, it’s somewhat surprising that there’s nothing by way of travel literature. And the genre of dissatisfied/ overworked/lovelorn cityslickers finding themselves/finding love/renovating a farmhouse (or all three) in regions like Provence or Tuscany has yet to encompass Malta (although Gozo seems a logical place to set one of these stories – there are plenty of interesting characters, and farmhouses to restore).

There are, however, a few writers who have relocated to or holidayed in Malta and subsequently used the islands and their turbulent history as a backdrop for their stories. The Kappillan of Malta by Nicholas Monsarrat is the best example – it’s the classic English-language novel about Malta. More gripping beach reading is provided by David Ball’s novel, The Sword and the Scimitar.

Learn & Serve in Tunisia. Learn & Serve students will spend the summer learning about this unique country as well as working with local students in association with AMIDEAST local staff.
