During National Bike Month, Adventure Cycling is raising $50,000 to support the creation of the U.S.
Community Bike Programs, Bike Libraries, Bicycle Sharing, Bike Coop, Bicycle Collective
This category covers a wide variety of groups, with a wide variety of structures and without well defined boundaries between types of programs. They all have in common that they are facilitating more bicycling in their communities'. Some are truly free, but others have some revenue generating element to try an make them more stable and increase their longevity.
Sacramento Bicycle Kitchen - Do-It-Yourself Bicycle Maintenance
Due to staffing issues and general lack of participation in SBKids/Family Night we are suspending these separate hours for kids/families. We will continue our efforts to encourage families and kids to ride bikes by waiving the $5 shop fee for anyone under the age of 18 who comes in to work on their bike during regular shop hours.
