23 Twitter Tools To Help You Tweet Like A Pro. Ever feel like your tweets dissipate into the ether, never to be seen or heard from again? There are a slew of tools available to help you track who's reading your tweets (and if anyone actually is), as well as which of your tweets gain traction in the Twittersphere. True Twitter buffs know Bit.ly isn't to be missed. The URL-shortening service will not only slim unwieldy links, but it also offers up stats (see picture above) on how many times a link you tweeted was clicked, during what time period it was clicked and much, much more.

To see the stats, just add a "+" to the end of a Bit.ly shortened link in your address bar, hit enter and watch the magic happen. Retweet shows you how many times a tweet you sent has been retweeted (something you can also find out on Twitter.com's "@mention" tab) and how many people a tweet reached when it was retweeted. Leaders are like Golfers. Aside Will Lukang, PMP, CSM, CLDC As I was following the Presidents Cup over the weekend, it occurred to me that golfers are like leaders.

In some respects it is not fair that I compare golfers to leaders, because leaders have more responsibilities and have more on their shoulders. However, from a conceptual standpoint there is congruence between the two. Comparative analysis Golf is called a gentlemen’s game, because honesty is a requisite in order to play this game. I’m not saying that all people who play golf are honest, but professional golfers often assess penalties on themselves in spite of no one pointing it out to them. While a golfer can be a good role model, nothing compares to a leader. In the end, while golf is a great game and most of the people who play this sport uphold a certain standard, a leader is still a true leader because of their selfless act of doing what is best for their people versus themselves.

Will Lukang, MBA, PMP, MASCL, SCM, is an enabler.
