I’ve been getting a decent number of emails recently asking me about the status of Patches and whether I will continue with it and etc… Well, because I am not one for short answers, here is a very long winded explanation on how the year will pan out for me, my art, and ultimately Patches. It is of course a fact of life that we need money in order to have a roof over our heads, clothes on our backs, and food in our bellies. In essence we need money to live. I am a human being just like everyone else and I’d like to live, so any paying comic job will ALWAYS come before Patches. Patches - An Online Shoujo Style Romance Comic

Lackadaisy Backalley The Calinda is a dance with roots tracing back to African martial arts. It appears to have made its way to the American South with the slave trade where it intermingled with Creole and Cajun cultures and developed a new reputation as a bawdy, forbidden dance with implications of Voodoo practice. In sidelong reference to the Calinda dance, a girl named Colinda occasionally appears in Louisiana folksongs - the popular Cajun tune "Allons Danser Colinda" among them.
