http://www.minieco.co.uk/valentines-day-pixely-popup-card/ By Kate on February 6, 2012 I ‘ve been scratching my head trying to come up with a card for my hubby {AKA the non-romantic type }. I finally decided to make this pixely popup heart card! They are really minimal (which I love) and take about 20 minutes to make (that includes the card, insert and envelope). You can even make some pixely confetti to put inside the card (if you are a big kid like me!).

Summer Denim Shorts – Shaped Card « Mayholic in Crafts

http://mayholicraft.wordpress.com/2012/07/31/summer-short-jeans-shaped-card/ Good evening, all y’all! It’s the last day of July, and it means I have a few more hours left to submit my card to the July gallery challenge at Paper Crafts . I’ve been so frustrated about how to create a differently shaped card ever since I found out July challenge was going on Nina’s blog at the last minute. I couldn’t make it to the submission on her blog because I didn’t have enough time to finish it. Fortunately, I still have a chance to play along with a shaped card at the July gallery challenge . I was working on iPhone and watermelon shaped cards over the last few days.

paper crafts: mini grad cards - crafts ideas

Paper crafts: mini grad cards It’s that time of year again – graduation season. I don’t know about you, but every year we know of quite a few graduates. To save money, and to add a personal touch to what is usually a card full of money, I made these mini graduation cards.
To be honest, I was never keen on origami hearts (or roses for that matter) for a fairly long time because it was hard to accept the way they look — I find them too edgy and not very loving. Well that’s all in the past. My perception has changed (and I’m so glad).
