Il Cairo, 22-02-2011 Israele risponderà immediatamente a qualsiasi "provocazione" da parte delle due unità della Marina Militare iraniana entrate nel Mar Mediterraneo e ha messo le sue forze navali in allerta. Questa la prima reazione da parte israeliana, alla notizia che due navi da guerra iraniane hanno attraversato il canale di Suez. Parlando poco dopo l'ingresso nel Mar Mediterraneo delle due navi da guerra iraniane, la fonte israeliana rimasta anonima ha riferito che la Marina israeliana ha elevato il livello di allerta e sta seguendo la loro rotta.
