rayon — Rayon v1.2.0 documentation

Rayon is a Python library and set of tools for generating basic two-dimensional statistical visualizations. Rayon can be used to automate reporting; provide data visualization in command-line, GUI or web applications; or do ad-hoc exploratory data analysis. Rayon can generate visualizations in PDF, PNG, SVG and PostScript formats. It can also be used in wxPython GUI applications. Rayon has a minimal set of dependencies, to simplify deployment in environments with significant change control requirements. Installing Rayon requires the following software packages: Python 2.4 or laterThe third party renderer of your choice. Rayon is distributed as a tarball generated by Python distutils. . $ tar xzf rayon-1.0.tar.gz $ cd rayon-1.0 $ python setup.py help # to see options $ python setup.py install # to install More detailed information on using setup.py is available from the Python distutils documentation. Problem is that we lost funding for CEE, which doesn’t mean that CEE is dead! In fact, I updated the field dictionary to accommodate some more use-cases and data sources. The one currently published by CEE is horrible. Whether you are using CEE or any other logging standard for your message formatting, you will need a naming schema; a set of field names. The problem with the currently published field dictionary of CEE is that it’s inconsistent, has duplicate field names, and is missing a bunch of field names that you commonly need. I was emailing with my friend Jose Nazario the other day and realized that we never really published anything decent on the event taxonomy either. For reference purposes. Here is the new field dictionary: October 25, 2013 October 22, 2013 See that? Looks pretty normal. Renoir: General Network Visualization and Manipulation Program.
