Cantieri d'Italia » Blog Archive » 41°puntata BENVENUTI IN ITALIA! Speedy neutrino mystery likely solved, relativity safe after all. Those weird faster-than-light neutrinos that CERN thought they saw last month may have just gotten slowed down to a speed that'll keep them from completely destroying physics as we know it.

Speedy neutrino mystery likely solved, relativity safe after all

In an ironic twist, the very theory that these neutrinos would have disproved may explain exactly what happened. Back in September, physicists ran an experiment where they sent bunches of neutrinos from Switzerland to Italy and measured how long the particles took to make the trip. Over 15,000 experiments, the neutrinos consistently arrived about 60 nanoseconds early, which means 60 nanoseconds faster than the speed of light. Einstein's special theory of relativity says this should be impossible: nothing can travel faster than light.

The Experiment Here's the deal: neutrinos move very very fast (at or close to light speed, at least), and the distance that they traveled in this experiment was (to a neutrino) not that far, only 450 miles.

George H. W. Unscramble.net. Image decoded from the Rendlesham binary code?? An image decoded from the Rendlesham binary code; William C.

image decoded from the Rendlesham binary code??

Treurniet, January, 2011; Summary. During the 1980 Rendlesham Forest UFO event, Sgt. James Penniston experienced a telepathic download of binary data when he came in contact with what appeared to be a strange craft. However, when the data is processed with an image decoding algorithm found in the 2010 Wilton Windmill crop formation, a recognizable image is obtained. A well-known encounter with UFOs occurred during two or three nights just after Christmas, 1980, in southern England. Here, and here. During the first night of the event, Sgt. He learned that the object was from our future and was involved in a project to save future humanity from genetic degradation. Recently, the first five pages of the notebook were released to the public via the Earthfiles site. 5 Ways To Hack Your Brain Into Awesomeness

There are probably secrets the brain simply doesn't want us to know. But by no means should that stop us from tinkering around in there, using somewhat questionable and possibly dangerous techniques to make our brains do what we want. We can't vouch for any of these, either their effectiveness or safety.

All we can say is that they sound awesome, since apparently you can make your brain... #5. So you just picked up the night shift at your local McDonald's, you have class every morning at 8am and you have no idea how you're going to make it through the day without looking like a guy straight out of Dawn of the Dead, minus the blood... hopefully. The most important thing to remember is that we've chosen tasks that are best done by humans rather than computer, so please don't spend much more than a minute on a any single image. Crater Survey Tutorial First off, please watch this short video demonstrating the Crater Survey interface. In this task, you'll be shown a randomly selected image of the lunar surface. To mark them, click on the 'Crater' button, and click at the centre of each crater that you can see. How the craters appear will depend on whether it was morning, midday or evening — the shadows will change dramatically over the course of a day. Once you've marked all the craters, you can click on the ellipse to stretch and move them so they mark the right size of crater.

If none of the craters have boulders, then move on. W3Schools Online Web Tutorials. HTML5 Fundamentals. Microsoft DreamSpark. The Worlds of David Darling. We are listening. Resizenowmap.jpg from lbl.gov.
