Seriously, this is the best I’ve seen Studio Deen in since Giant Killing ended. For the first time in one year and two months (which is a really long time for a studio that releases so many series), I’ve been impressed by these guys again on a series. It is about bloody time. Obviously Hunter X Hunter is the best shounen at the moment, but still: after being disappointed by Ao no Exorcist, the first Nurarihyon no Mago series, Sket Dance, Toriko, Bakuman’s first season, Sacred Seven and Tegami Bachi Reverse, it feels very good to see a shounen actually end well .

Leap Day Special Leap Day only comes once every four years, so as a special treat for our readers, I have invited as many current and retired reviewers as I could found to send in a review! Aiden starts us off with a favorable look at the philosophically minded Ergo Proxy , which he touts as a good thinking man's anime, though with the caveat that certain expectations may dampen viewers' enthusiasm for the show. Allen gives us a thorough look at the Kimikiss: Pure Rouge franchise, a teen romance that thankfully is far better than it sounds - and shockingly free of fan service. Bob "celebrates his Ali-like comeback to THEM" with ... our first hentai review in a good long while, covering the Bible Black series, which is accessible through our Adult Reviews tab. And surprise surprise, even a survivor of Cool Devices finds this series too much to handle.

You see new versions of comic book storylines all the time from Batman to Spider Man, but how many times do you see the unrelated second season for a manga franchise? Fullmetal Alchemist, unlike other manga series that have been turned into anime, was actually very different from the rest. Even though the original series lasted for 51 episodes and a movie, it only took the first seven manga volumes of material for influence. The result, despite still being superb, was actually quite different from where the manga version went where things like the true nature of the Homunculus and the actions of certain characters were severely different.

Renton Thurston, a fourteen year old boy is living his boring life in a small town called Bellforest with his mechanic grandfather. He is constantly teased by his peers because of the reputation of his father, Adrock Thurston, who is considered a hero by the military. Renton's life becomes even worse when his favorite reffing (a sport similar to surfing, only done in air) spot is closed off. One day Eureka, a cute and mysterious girl crash-lands in his yard, asking him and his grandfather to fix her mecha, Nirvash. This is a list of episodes for the Sunrise anime television series Code Geass . Code Geass officially premiered on the Mainichi Broadcasting System (MBS) television network on October 15, 2006. [ 1 ] Upon the airing of the first twenty-three episodes, the series went on hiatus on March 29, 2007, [ 1 ] [ 2 ] and completed broadcast of the first series with the simultaneous one-hour broadcast of episodes twenty-four and twenty-five on July 28, 2007. [ 3 ] The second season, Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 , premiered on MBS and TBS on April 6, 2008. Prior to the series' television broadcast, three private preview screenings of episode 1 were held on March 15 and March 16 in Osaka and Tokyo, respectively, which was attended by the series' seiyū as well as a pool of 3800 randomly-selected applicants. In the United States, the dubbed version of the first season was first broadcast on Adult Swim on April 27, 2008.

[ 1 ] [ 2 ] The series follows the story of two alchemist brothers, Edward and Alphonse Elric , who want to restore their bodies after a disastrous failed attempt to bring their mother back to life through alchemy.
