There has often been controversy over the position of women within role-playing games. RPGs have a reputation for being male-dominated, and I thought one approach would be to look at how women are portrayed in RPG texts. Thus, I conducted a study looking at a number of RPG books from among my collection, and studied each text looking at all cases of female characters. Collecting these, I present the results.
