Neste artigo apresentamos questões relativas à localização e adaptação de recursos educacionais digitais. Começamos com uma discussão sobre objetos de aprendizagem (OA) e recursos educacionais abertos (REA). Apresentamos três estratégias que podem auxiliar designers, professores e usuários a refletir sobre a possibilidade de reuso, localização, e adaptação cultural de recursos educacionais digitais. In this article we present concerns regarding localization of digital educational resources.
Esta pesquisa tem como proposta refletir sobre a criação de um modelo de estruturação e catalogação dos metadados para Repositórios Educacionais Abertos. De caráter exploratório e descritivo, a pesquisa utiliza de revisão bibliográfica e documental pertinente para a fundamentação e o tratamento analítico do corpus do trabalho. A pesquisa foi realizada em duas situações complementares: a) o levantamento e a análise dos principais padrões de metadados (MARC 21, Dublin Core, LOM/IEEE e a ISO 19788-2), com o intuito de definir os principais campos descritores aplicáveis para Repositórios Educacionais Abertos; e b) identificação dos campos descritores utilizados no Sistema Universidade Aberta do Brasil.
Perspectivas em Ciência da Informação - Open educational resources for Brazilian system of open university: preliminary studies
This paper describes the internal motivations and external drivers that led The Open University UK to enter the field of Open Educational Resources through its institution‐wide OpenLearn initiative ( www.open.ac.uk/openlearn ). It also describes some of the emerging evidence of the impacts inside and outside the university. Through the rapid implementation and operation of the OpenLearn website, The Open University UK has been able to better understand and promote openness through open and distance learning.

This paper depicts the sustainability of Open Educational Resources (OERs) in terms of the three models: funding, technical, and content. Discussion and recommendations are focused on the sustainability of OERs and the requirement that we think of OERs as only part of a larger picture - one that includes volunteers and incentives, community and partnerships, co-production and sharing, distributed management and control.
