The Expendables Movie. New International Poster for John Carter. Thanks to AndromedaHigh, here is the new international poster for Disney's John Carter, opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX theaters on March 9. Directed by Andrew Stanton, the big screen adaptation of a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs stars Taylor Kitsch, Lynn Collins, Samantha Morton, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds, Dominic West, James Purefoy, Daryl Sabara, Polly Walker, Bryan Cranston, Thomas Hayden Church and Willem Dafoe. John Carter tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

I never saw that movie How to Make an American Quilt, because I'm not a big fan of quilts, so it always seemed outside my wheelhouse. I am, however, a fan of Futurama (and wheelhouses!) , so if Winona Ryder ever starred in a movie called How to Make an American Bender Costume, I'd at least Netflix it.
