Top 10 Things You Can Upgrade with a Little Electronics Hacking. It is a skill to do a good solder joint, it comes with LOTS of practice. so most people who rarely do it will ever get good at it. Bingo. Of course, part of the issue is having a soldering iron at the right temp with a properly tinned tip. Newbies aren't using soldering stations but a cheap iron they got at rat shack (You have questions? We have deer-in-the-headlights... erm... answers!). I don't expect to ever master tricky stuff like smts or even multilayer pcbs so I'm not much better then a newbie, anyway - and I totally suck at sweating pipe joints.

Ah, well... SMT is actually a bit better than through-hole once you get the hang of it. Build an Inductive Charging Station Into Your Desk or Nightstand. Alliance for Wireless Power | Technology. Rezence™ is a wireless power transfer technology and specification based on the principles of magnetic resonance. This technology offers superior features and capabilities, and is endorsed by the world’s leading mobile chipmakers, mobile phone manufacturers, and other key industry partners. PROBLEM: First-generation Technology Has Critical Limitations Various industry groups have been formed over the last several years to promote wireless charging technologies.

While these groups have done well to generate excitement for wireless charging, none of these technologies have been deployed on a mass scale. The primary reason for this is that these solutions are using an older, first-generation charging technology. SOLUTION: Meet Rezence, The Next Generation in Wireless Charging Technology Rezence is based on the concept of spatial freedom, which extends wireless power applications “beyond the mat” and accessories market into almost any mobile device or surface.

How to Invent a Product: 8 steps. Steps Part 1 of 3: Imagining Your Product 1Brainstorm ideas. The first step in coming up with a truly unique and useful product is to brainstorm ideas. Consider your area of expertise - what are you most interested in and know the most about? 2Decide on an idea. Part 2 of 3: Patenting Your Invention 1Create a thorough record of your invention. 4File for a patent. Part 3 of 3: Making Your Invention a Reality 1Create a prototype. 5Advertise your invention.

8169185. Finger keypad system and method Abstract Systems and methods for creating a finger keypad using the twelve finger segments of the human hand as a 12-key keypad are presented. In one embodiment, the finger segments are each associated with respective successive keys of a 12-key keypad, and a sensor device worn on the thumb or the wrist detects the thumb of the hand tapping on a selected finger segment and produces an output signal which varies based on which finger segment is tapped. A processor associated with the sensor device converts the output signals to corresponding 12-key values, and the 12-key values are converted to corresponding alpha-numeric values.
