http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2095934 [Beta version] Running x86 apps on WinRT devices I'm presenting a tool that allows running a set of x86 Windows applications on Windows RT (ARM) tablets. Its goal is to support all apps except for those that: - require much CPU power, - use complex features that were cut out from WinRT like D3D9 extensions or OpenGL, - require drivers or specific services, - make heavy use of COM interfaces, - use undocumented windows internals, - apps that use .NET framework, - x86 Metro apps, - 16 or 64 bit Windows programs, - buggy apps that require special workarounds. The tool is currently on a beta stage, so don't expect much from it.

While there are plenty of IT professionals who possess both the skills and passion for working in DevOps, this may not apply to everyone. From a developer's perspective, building apps is much more enjoyable than building infrastructure while the opposite is probably true for sysadmins. http://readwrite.com/2011/11/14/from-devops-to-noops-10-cloud

How to Send Large Files, But Not as Attachments - ReadWriteCloud

As we mentioned in our article earlier this summer, the lines are blurring between file sending and sync services and cloud drives . The latest entrant into this field is ZipSend , from the folks that make the popular WinZip file compression utility. It is somewhat disappointing on several reasons, but gives us an excuse to recap the major players in the marketplace. As you mostly know by now, the major Webmail providers limit your attachments to 25 MB, and many corporate email servers have much lower limits because they don't want their servers bogged down with attachments. To get around this problem, a number of file sending service providers have been created.
