Wedding Blog: DIY Wine Bottle Wedding Decor. My fiancée and I are pretty big wine drinkers. We’re also fairly lazy which means we have plenty of empty wine bottles piling up in the recycling area. So, all of these dusty bottles got me wondering how I could reuse them in a fun way for our wedding. Use pinking shears to cut out the flag. Iron flags. Line flags up on a table in desire sequence. Tuck flags into bias tape, making sure that shorter edge of the bias tape is on top. Pin flags to bias tape. Fire up your sewing machine and sew flags to bias tape. There you have it!
