I've been following the site for a few months now and have decided I should become a little more involved in the social side of things here. I've always had a bike of some sort since I was a teen and I'll be turning 50 later this year. For the last 25 years I've only really had rubber belt based Ducatis starting with a 500 Pantah (although I once did own a 900S2 bevel) with my current two bikes being '08 848s -- one highly modified for racing, the other pretty much a stock rebuilt wreck for my daily commuter to work.

One build that recently grabbed my attention was Sydney based member DucatiBoy's Honda CB350 'Limited Edition' Cafe Racer. After a few emails back and forth DB shared the story of his Cafe Racer build with me and despite his declaration he was no good behind the camera, he snapped off these slick shots for us. Here's how the bike came together in his own words... "It started out as a 1969 (70?) Benjie's Cafe Racers. CB550 alloy sprint - page 1 - Cafe Racers - DO THE TON. Motorcycle Alloy Tanks. All our Fuel Tanks are produced in 2mm Alloy Our Tanks are handmade but every tank made of the same type will be identical. Our tanks are TIG Welded and will be stamped HOLTWORKS on the bottom with a trace number.
