Chair "Footies"

E .... "WHAT IS ON THE BOTTOM OF YOUR CHAIRS?!?! " So the best way to answer all of you who've asked...a blog post!! Felt is the material I use. The pre-cut rectangles of felt sold at Wal-Mart or your local craft store works, but make sure you find a sale!! Cut the felt into thirds. Fold it over once. Center on the bottom of your chair leg. Tie rubber band around felt in the groove where the "foot" of the chair meets the leg of the chair.

Keep looping it...over and over..until you can't loop it anymore. There ya go! Usually my "footies" will stay on the chairs the whole year long if I've tied them on tight enough. Pinterest. Pinterest. Pinterest. Organization. Welcome!

Here is the view of our first grade hallway at Wayland Bonds Elementary! This year we decided to go with a camping theme. We made our doorways look like log cabins by making logs out of butcher paper. We all bought a pine tree from Mardels. I also had my mom sew red and white checker curtains for each of our windows. Here is the camping welcome sign as you enter the first grade hallway. We each took laminated scrapbook paper and glued it to the wall with a cloths pin. My Classroom Pictures Here is a look into my classroom! This is my teacher desk. I have each pod of desks labeled with group signs. Click HERE to download my group signs from my TpT Store! The baskets on the shelf are each student's individual book basket for their independent reading books.

I use this pocket chart to store the student's library and lunch cards. Pinterest. Tuyaux en PVC Playhouse Tutorial. Pinterest. Pinterest. Classroom Decor And Organization. Hi everyone, I'm here today to show you MY CLASSROOM!

Classroom Decor And Organization

Yay!! I took lots of pictures before taking it all down for the summer so I have plenty to show :) Let's start with my reading corner. This is always my favorite part because I love everything that happens in the reading corner, not matter what grade I am teaching! I made my title by sticking cut-out letters (from Scholastic) onto plastic plates from the Dollar store. Here is my storage area. This is my birthday display. Here is my word wall. Next to my word wall, I have my digraphs posters. This is my center rotation board. Here are my colors and shapes displays. My classroom rules. This is my behavior clip chart. My "Pick Me" and "Mystery Walker" buckets. I keep this at the top of my whiteboard. And finally.... my HUGE bulletin board! The only thing I forgot to take a picture of is my desk... I hope you enjoyed taking a peak inside my second home! *Almost* everything you see in this post is in TPT store! Later gators,
