Music Help For YOUR Wedding!! & Soundtrack To I Do

Or do you not even know where to begin when it comes to music? I’d love to help! Just send me an e-mail with some of the details of your wedding (style, guests, venue, etc.) and your music taste, and I’ll do my best to offer suggestions and/or create a playlist for you! I can’t make any guarantees, but I can give you somewhere to start! Here is what Stephanie, a sweet (and stunning!) “Colleen was such a gift when planning the music for my reception. Isn’t she gorgeous?? In case you want to get an idea of what the process looks like, here is a snippet from Stephanie’s original email: “I am getting married this July, and the music for the reception has been very hard to come up with.

Here is the playlist I created for her: Processional La Vie En Rose – Louis Armstrong Better Together – Jack Johnson Pink Moon – Nick Drake Somewhere Over The Rainbow – Israel Kamakawiwo’ole Bridal Entrance. Rustic Chic, DIY Farmhouse Wedding {Part 2} Hello lovelies, Did you see Mike and Amy’s rustic chic ceremony and gorgeous group shots featuring ladies in boots and gents in ‘chucks’ {aka Converse}?

Rustic Chic, DIY Farmhouse Wedding {Part 2}

Their wedding was a homespun, DIY affair from start to finish ~ the bouquets and centerpieces were made using flowers from a flower market, the bridesmaid’s necklaces were DIYed using ribbon and pearls, the bar was made from wine barrels and an old door, the flowers/burlap and jar/candle centerpieces were home made, the ring pillow was made by a grandmother and one of the maids of honor made the cake topper and 160 cupcakes! I particularly love their DIY escort card idea ~ place settings were written on tiny paper bags that also contained bay leaves to shower the newlyweds with and the bags were held up by mini clothespins on twine. Sweet huh? Sit back and enjoy the DIY awesomeness of their BBQ reception and the beautiful images by Greg of GPT Photography… Ok, can we just appreciate the cute factor here…how adorable are these two?! Burlap and Crystal Wedding Inspiration. Today’s lovely Inspired Creations Contest idea is perfect for the shabby chic bride!

Burlap and Crystal Wedding Inspiration

The Nashville team of Cedarwood Weddings and Kristyn Hogan created a warm, cozy atmosphere with a glamorous side using a whitewashed color palette and burlap accents. All of the vintage mismatched candlesticks were thrifted and painted in an antique white to create a sea of white candlelight for the romantic centerpiece and mantel. The floral was kept simple (and budget-friendly!) With a unique baby’s breath arrangement, and the mirrors on the walls accentuate the shimmer and sparkle of the candles and add a pretty, antique feel to the setting. A Styled Seaside Wedding & Love and Lavender. Today’s post is one of the cutest photoshoots we have ever seen!

From the bride’s ruffled blue dress to the adorable pug in a bowtie, everything about it makes us smile. Mandy and Zoe of Dottie Creations and Dottie Photography did all the styling, stationery, and photography themselves! What talented ladies. The fun signage is a super cost effective way to add some major style points to your wedding. And those red shoes – swoon!! Seriously, how cute is that pug? We love how they wrapped all the tin cans with fun sayings as well. Chelsea and Gareth, the models, looked stunning! Photo Save the Date Ideas. Wow, I can’t believe it’s Friday already!

Daily Wedding Pretties and Advice: DIY Twine-Wrapped Mason Jars. I feel like I’m a little late in joining the rustic chic party but hey better late than never right?

Daily Wedding Pretties and Advice: DIY Twine-Wrapped Mason Jars

In celebration of my latest project in the works which I shared a bit with you here, I thought I’d give these twine-wrapped mason jars a try. After all I certainly love wrapping and gluing anything I can around vases. This project was so easy peasy that you too can create your own with whatever kind of jar, twine and ribbon you want to use. The supplies are few as all you need is some glue (either crazy glue or you can use a glue gun), ribbon, mason jars, flowers and of course, lots and lots of the good stuff. Also known as twine. The jars I found were from Hobby Lobby as was the twine. Then you can make the twine sort of wrap around in a diagonal pattern over the first layer of twine. Et voila! Will you be my bridesmaid? & Something Turquoise {daily bridal inspiration} I am in love with today’s DIY.

will you be my bridesmaid? & Something Turquoise {daily bridal inspiration}

It’s a very special way to ask your besties to be a part of your special day! Don’t just blurt it out… “Will you be my bridesmaid!!??” Take time to plan something nice for your friends… they are going to have to put up with your every demand for the future months. Treat them to something nice like this special box below… Pin Start by marking lines on the top of your box to create guides for stamping. Since our stamping is aligned at the right, I started stamping from the right side; or backwards. If your box top is like mine, it might sag a little towards the middle… make sure you apply even pressure with your stamp. I always like to test out each stamp along the way… check twice and stamp once. Keep stamping until it reads, “Will you be my…”. Since the box had a slight texture to it, I had to fill in some little spots with a fine black marker. When your ink is finally dry, carefully erase your guide lines.
