I have an extra cute tutorial today that I know you’re just going to love! This beaded bracelet is super easy to make and ever so fun to wear. His + Her Sharpie Mug DIY - A Beautiful Mess

http://www.minieco.co.uk/woven-gift-wrap-pastel-edition/ By Kate on August 8, 2012 I noticed that the woven gift-topper I made last year was doing the rounds again on Pinterest so I thought I would make an updated pastel version (pastels seem to be the new neon at the moment). I bought some quilling strips (0.5cm) to use this time which reduces the labour by about half (I’ve also been working on some more intricate woven ‘things’ for another project…more to come soon). Anyway check out the previous post if you want full instructions. Above: Mischevious hands – the unseen backdrop in all my photo’s ^_^

We love using chalkboards as backdrops for displays and parties (like this one here !). So we were super excited to learn that you can create your own custom colors-and it's really easy! We first learned how from Martha Stewart whose tutorial you can read here . She recommends that you use latex paint, but we tried it out with acrylic paints with much success.
