If you are an interior design fan I’m sure you’re aware that designers spend more time for bath products, and not just for furniture. Inspired by the world’s most popular game here is a very alternative to the old fashioned and boring tiles.
Just like the game, it’s up to you to interlock them to fill in every single spot. They come in just about every color under the sun, and are made from fine Italian ceramic. With this new concept Ron Arad decided to change how the bathroom look, so he has designed this incredibly unique luxury bath concept for Italian manufacturers Teuco, which rotates to become a shower. The elegant sculptural form serves two purposes, it could either be used as a shower, or it could be rotated 180 degrees to form a bathtub against the wall. Arad worked with Italian bathroom design brand Teuco to bring the concept to life. At this stage it’s still a prototype but Arad is confident that with Teuco’s production expertise his bath dream will soon be a reality in our own homes. – Via.
Washbasin Shaped as a Fossil – Ammonite. If you want something really unique in your bathroom then you should take a look at the Ammonite washbasin from HighTech that is shaped as a fossil. This unique design showcases the organic qualities of concrete. The washbasin can be produced in widths between 90 cm and 330 cm with a standard depth of 56 cm, and is available in several colors. It can be installed either with a table-mounted or wall-mounted tap. The Flower Vanity from Duebi Italia is a frivolous and light-hearted interpretation of the shape of a flower, this vanity will add an abstract air of modern design and vitality to your bathroom. While I’m watching this design a lot of other designideas came into my mind. Robotic Arm Faucet Design – Kohler’s Karbon Faucet. Breaking away from traditional faucet designs Kohler’s Karbon is a new design which essentially “articulates from a compact pole-looking thing into a long arm that reaches right where you need it.” The new faucet design from Kohler, is just like a smart robotic arm that can move the faucet to any place you wish to fill the liquid from.
The angular, linear aspect of the Karbon is sure to be as appreciated for its futuristic good looks as for its fantastic functionality. Clever engineering means that the faucet can hold any pose. It’s great for filling large pots, pulling down into the sink to prepare food, and tucking away out of the way when it’s not in use. What’s more, it’s designed to be used hands-free. With a modern, textured user-friendly surface, this faucet is finished in gleaming polished chrome.
