Federal government CISOs are apparently hesitating to move applications to the cloud because of what they see as concerns over security and policy enforcement. This is according to newly released findings from a 2010 State of Cybersecurity report – published by the non-profit security certification body (ISC)² – which surveyed federal CISO opinions on a range of cybersecurity topics. The survey shows that 72% of federal CISOs polled are not yet using cloud computing applications because 1) they remain uncertain about their ability to replicate security policy in the cloud (45%) and 2) concerns about data loss prevention (21%). http://www.infosecurity-magazine.com/view/9307/feds-resist-cloud-computing-over-security-concerns/
