With London in lockdown, the Tate Modern has taken its Andy Warhol exhibition online. The major retrospective features a career-spanning look at Warhol’s most famous works including pop art images of Marilyn Monroe, Coca-Cola and Campbell’s soup cans, along with works from his Ladies and Gentlemen series which haven’t been shown in 30 years. Art lovers around the world can now visit the exhibition with a curator-led virtual tour and room by room digital archive of the works featured. As well as taking a look at some of Warhol’s most renowned pieces, the virtual tour also sheds some light on the man behind the art. Across 12 rooms, you can virtually wander the renowned gallery while taking a journey through the life and art of one of modern art’s most influential figures.
