Steinbeck Project « Roof Beam Reader. After discussion with Mabel, Allie, and Lori, I have decided to lay out a plan to pursue the complete works of one author.
I tossed around quite a few names in my head, such as Willa Cather, Henry James, Mark Twain, and Ernest Hemingway. Ultimately, I settled on John Steinbeck, who is incredibly fascinating to me. I’ve loved all of what I’ve read by him, so far, including his political and personal writing. I’m going to re-read some of the works that I read long ago, before I wrote down any real thoughts on my reading.
