Twelve Cautionary Tales for Christmas, (12 Ideal Cities), by Superstudio, 1971. Mid Century Modern Milwaukee. Incredible claustrophobic footage from inside the Kowloon Walled City. Frankly, that it was demolished made me truly hate the New World Order/Globalist Bankers, call them what you will. Man needs "Interzones" and "Free" places. We need both a "Pressure Relief Valve" and an "Unrestricted Social Experiment". Wonderful, wonderful freedom! Horrible, Horrible Freedom! And this documentary was only a tiny part of this hidden universe. Ever see "BloodSport"? They did have things like that there. What's coolest, and IMO they should be ashamed they didn't feature, was the REAL shrine... Before even the walled fort there was a Buddhist Shrine in it's center. And, frankly, I wanted to go there. But the New World Order tore it down.

We enter a metal box, some time passes, and we arrive somewhere else. The fact that we're moving must be obvious (she loves to stick her head out the window and watch the world go by), but there are no natural ways of moving like that for a dog.

So what the heck DO they think about it? Actually, a car might be even more magical if you think about it - the trains at least go to another part of the subway, and they listen to the conductors to get to the right places, so they obviously grok the concept that things are connected. In the car, the dog is completely helpless and just appears somewhere new at our whim. I have no idea, but I've seen stray dogs navigate the bus system as well. I'm afraid the not-very-interesting answer, given that we're talking about dogs, is that they don't actually think about it at all, at least not on any conscious level.
