For the uninitiated , Pearltrees is a free visual curation tool that allows you to organize the web into subscribable clusters, either by pulling in data from your browser or by crawling what you follow on Twitter. You can embed a Pearltree (like we have) on any website and it will update automatically as you add more content (like “Dancing Erick.” Hint. Hint). Pearltrees is a place to collect, organize and share everything you like on the web. For those that are likewise, um disrupted, data curation tool Pearltrees has created the above tree visualization, which allows you to relive the three day info hurricane on your own terms by clicking through any of the available “pearls” or data nodes.

Agree with grimsel, needs a share and build then possible better use. The #Boulderfire is a good exanple because it consists of links to Tweets that were the best resources, interestingly enough once people I've shown get used to using, they do love it. Epic Colorado is leading innovative data collection for Disaster Events but not necessarily respected for the how and seemimgly more for the notority often missing vital data individuals create via say a Google mash-up here's an example from PDXBoom http://is.gd/g2ejH by Oct 24
@PED @northlandfox agreed, but it would be even greater if it would have the ability to collaborativly build order. I mean pearltrees isn't really a group concept but something halve way in between a group and someone's individual web_order. Tried to imagine how a pearltrees might start to look like when several parties had access to one pearl and ALL (invited?) would be able to structure it's content. by Oct 24

of Pearltrees? great way to aggregate data & resourcesfor events if everyone understood it, I think if there was a better visual for an introduction it might be used more. Another tool and a preference for maybe more visual types. TtT & Wikis seem to be preferred most popular probably because mainstream & easier at first to use by Oct 17
