A total of 10.1 million foreign visitors came to Spain during August, according to figures released by Spain’s National Statistics Institute (INE) on Friday marking a monthly record and an increase of 5.8 percent from August last year. The first eight months of 2016 saw more than 52.5 million tourists have visited Spain, an increase of 10 percent from the same period in 2015.
